Porcelain Moon Vessels
A collection of porcelain Moon vessels.
Classic forms, slip cast from my own original handmade moulds and finished with different colour glazes and patterns.
Those that are glazed on the inside can safely hold liquids. Others are unglazed and suitable only for dry decoration or contents.
Some designs are inspired by textile tie and die patterns - the classic Moon and Stars pattern can be found in African Adire tie dye and also Japanese Shibori.
Others are inspired by African face and body painting patterns or colours significant in Islamic art.
All are 15cm diameter.
1. Celadon Moon - Unglazed inside, 19cm tall
2. Blue Grey Moon- Glazed inside, 20cm tall
3. Midnight Moon - Unglazed inside, 14.5cm tall
4. Day Moon - Glazed inside, 14.5cm tall
All bowls can be shipped overseas and are available to International customers.
Vessels can be safely washed in warm water and detergent to keep them clean. Avoid sudden use of extremely hot or cold liquids to prevent thermal shock.
